The Okanagan Band Sampler is a representation of our beautiful Okanagan valley.
As the bands are stitched there are apple blossoms, cherries, apples, flowers and finally, grapes produced among the bands of pulled thread.
The piece is stitched on 26 count 8" banding from Zweigart using silk ribbon and silk thread from Treenway Silks.
Treenway Silks are produced on Salt Spring Island here in British Columbia.
Caron Wildflowers and DMC pearl cotton are also used.
This project can be stitched into a tool case or done as a sampler.
